Andrea Testa

Andrea graduated in chemical sciences (Universita' degli Studi di Milano, Italy) and holds a PhD in medical imaging from the University of Aberdeen (UK). He started his work in targeted protein degradation as a postdoctoral researcher in 2015, joining the group of Prof. Alessio Ciulli at the University of Dundee, UK. He is a scientific co-founder of Amphista Therapeutics and led the development of the company’s chemistry platform. Andrea is currently Senior Director, Chemistry at TRIMTECH Therapeutics, working on the discovery of a novel class of compounds that selectively degrade protein aggregates for the treatment of neurodegeneration.
