Notes: Apoptolidin A exists in equilibrium with isoapoptolidin A which does not bind to or inhibit ATP synthase. In long experiments (>4 hrs), isoapoptolidin will convert to apoptolidin which makes it better suited to short experiments (<1 hr). See PMID: 12599468, 12599467
